The 16th Advanced Arthroplasty Course, organized by the Hip Knee Arthroplasty Association, was hosted by Medicabil Hospital.

In the Advanced Arthroplasty Course held on 18-19 November 2022 with the participation of nearly 100 orthopedic physicians, the participants had the opportunity to discuss primary case, special case and revision (correction) in advanced detail on the basis of theoretical and live surgeries.

Course Head Prof. Dr. In his speech, İbrahim Azboy said that in addition to 8 sessions, three live surgeries, one of which was revision, were evaluated within the scope of the event.

We exchanged ideas with our colleagues who participated in the course with live surgery practices in the field of knee arthroplasty.

Providing information about the course and expressing their satisfaction with the hosting of Medicabil Hospital, Chairman of the Hip Knee Arthroplasty Association Prof. Dr. Emin Ertuğrul Şener also said, “As an association, we organize two basic courses a year. We also do an advanced course. While we provide more information in basic courses, we discuss with live surgeries in advanced courses. We would like to thank Medicabil Hospital for hosting and supporting the organization of our advanced course for the 16th time.”


While the subject of Primary Total Knee Arthroplasty was discussed in the first session of the course, Prof. Dr. Ömer Faruk Bilgen's two Primary Total Knee Arthroplasty surgeries were watched live by the course participants. prof.
