Chairman of the Board of private Medicabil Hospital and Orthopedics & Traumatology Specialist Prof. Dr. Ömer Faruk Bilgen was born in Tarsus, Mersin in 1957. He is married and has 2 daughters. Dr. Omer Faruk Bilgen graduated from Istanbul University Cerrahpasa Faculty of Medicine in 1981. In 1989, he received specialized training in the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology of Uludag university. Bilgen, who completed his civil service and mandatory military service between 1982 and 1991, served in the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology of the Faculty of Medicine of Uludag university, receiving the titles of expert in 1991, assistant professor in 1993, associate professor in 1996, and professor in 2002. Prof. Dr. Ömer Faruk Bilgen has been continuing his professional life in private Medicabil Hospital institutions for about 10 years and also holds the title of Chairman of the Board of Directors of private Medicabil Hospital.
A professor who has acquired part of his professional experience abroad Dr. From September March 1993 to March 1994, Bilgen served at The Long Island Collage Hospital (Brooklyn, New York), New York University (Hospital for Joint Diseases Orthopaedic Institute) and Cornell University (Hospital for Special Surgery), respectively.
